Result of Lee Wade If Trials.
At the preliminary trials for the Lee Wade II Prizes in public speaking yesterday the following men were retained: P. P. Cohen '16, H. Cohn '15, H. Epstein '16, A. J. R. Helmus '16, N. W. Loud '15, G. Mair '16 (provisional), H. A. Packard '15, G. P. Pennoyer '15, and S. B. Pfeifer '16. These men will compete in the final trials in Sanders Theatre on Wednesday, March 31. All these men are requested to meet in Holden Chapel this afternoon at 4.15.
Talk Before Cercle Francais and Guests.
Mr. Alcide de Andria will speak on the development of the French song at a Cercle Francais meeting in Grays 17 at 7.30 o'clock. The Musical Club, the Glee Club and members of the Music Department are invited.
Fifth Interdormitory Smoker.
The fifth of the series of Senior interdormitory smokers will be held tomorrow evening from 9 until 10.30 o'clock when Matthews will entertain Hollis and Stoughton.
Freshman Lacrosse Candidates Report.
All candidates for the Freshman lacrosse team are to report in Smith Common Room tonight at 7.30 o'clock. Captain W. E. Nightingale '15 and Coach P. Gustafson '12 of the University team, and N. B. Lincoln '13 and R. S. Simmons '13, who will coach the Freshman teams, will address the meeting and outline in detail the work of the season.
