The CRIMSON competition, which starts today, has the general reputation of being one of the stiffest and at the same time one of the squarest of all the College competitions. The CRIMSON is proud of this reputation. The man who goes out for the editorial, news or business end will not regret the time and energy he gives to the work.
A Freshman in the CRIMSON news competition meets more men and gets to know more about all phases of the University than a man in any other sort of competition.
The opening of a business competition for Freshmen is an innovation. The fact that the new CRIMSON Building is to be started in the spring means that the present Freshman and Sophomore classes will be in College when it is opened and will be able to enjoy its advantages--an added reason why both Sophomores and Freshmen should enter the competition tonight.
