At a recent meeting held in honor of Professors Dupricz and De la Velle, of the University of Louvain, the Cercle Francais unanimously elected the following officers for the ensuing year: Charles Hall Grandgent '83, of Cambridge, honorary president; Rudolph Altrocchi '08, of Cambridge, president; Hardinge Scholle '18, of New York, N. Y., vice-president; Charies Gouverneur Paulding '18, of Brookline, secretary; and William Charies Guay '18, of Lynn, treasurer. The following were elected councillors: Professor E. L. Raiche of the French Department, John Roderigo Dos Passos, Jr., '16, of Washington, D. C., and Allen Shortt '17, of New York, N. Y.
