The results of the recent clothing collection made by the Phillips Brooks House Association have just been tabulated. The figures show a great variety of useful articles of clothing, and also many text-books and magazines.

The list is as follows: Overcoats, 13; coats, 55; trousers, 61; vests, 50; shoes (pairs), 94; socks (pairs), 33; shirts, 75; collars, 151; neckties, 137; underclothes (suits), 15; pajamas (suits), 7; bath robes, 1; raincoats, 1; sweaters, 1; gloves (pairs), 5; hats, 17; caps, 15; text-books, 101; magazines, 900 lbs.

The text-books will be added to the loan library in Phillips Brooks House and the magazines will be distributed among various charitable institutions. Several appeals for clothing have been received from institutions in the south -- notably Tuskegee Institute at Tuskegee, Ala., and the Brewer Normal Institute at Greenwood, S. C.

The bulk of the collection will go to war sufferers in Europe. The Social Service Committee takes this opportunity to thank those who have contributed to the success of the collection, especially the entry and dormitory collectors.
