There will be an open meeting of the Dramatic Club in the Territorial Room of the Union tonight at 7.30 o'clock, to which all members of the University who are interested in the drama are invited. Professor G. P. Baker '87 will speak, and plans for the fall production will be discussed.
Owing to lack of time, the committee, headed by Professor Baker, has not yet decided on the production to be given, but it will probably be one three-act play.
Candidates from the Freshman and Sophomore classes for the Stage, properties, electrical and publicity departments, as well as acting candidates for the fall production, should report at this meeting, as the competitions will be fully outlined.
On Monday evening the first reading will be held, and all candidates for parts should report then. Blue-books will be placed in Leavitt & Peirce's until Monday noon for candidates to sign for the first trials, which will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union on Tuesday at 3 o'clock. Candidates for the other departments are expected to report at the first reading and trials as well as at the meeting tonight.
