Miss Maude Powell, violinist, will give a concert in the John Knowles Paine Hall of the Music Building this evening at 8.15 o'clock, under the auspices of the Musical Review. She will be assisted by Mr. Loesser at the piano.
Miss Powell is considered by most critics to be the greatest woman violinist in the world. She has been a soloist with many of this country's greatest orchestras, and has toured all the countries of continental Europe, the British Isles, and South Africa. Since 1903 she has spent all of her time in this country, and more than any other artist is responsible for the introduction of violin music to the American public.
