MR. COOPER'S LECTURE.

The opportunity to hear interesting addresses, covering a wide variety of subjects, given by men who are authorities in their respective fields, is one of the many advantages of Union membership. If attendance at the recent addresses is a fair indication of appreciation, this advantage, unlike many others, has not been overlooked.

The Union has been fortunate, indeed, in securing Mr. Cooper to address the members this evening. The nature of his address, which deals with engineering, should appeal to a large number of the members; and the fact that Mr. Cooper approaches his subject not alone from a standpoint of theory, but from one of personal experience gained by active and successful work, insures a most interesting talk.
