Just as the CRIMSON was going to press, it was learned from a reliable source that weather was seen passing South Duxbury in the direction of Cambridge, and should arrive by noon tomorrow. It is expected that the St. Paul's Society will take some action to prevent this.
A. Beane Interviewed.
On being interviewed by a CRIMSON representative, A. Beane '11 said feelingly in part: "It is an outrage. I see no need at this late date in the history of Cambridge to have weather. I consider it a dangerous innovation, and I am surprised that the Student Council has not acted with its usual promptness in this important matter. I know that I shall be held personally responsible by the undergraduates." L. A. Morgan '17 corroborated A. Beane's statements, and shaking the reporter by the hand said: "We fellows over at Phillips Brooks House think the world of Arthur, and we simply will not have him blamed for the weather. So there!"
Phillips Brooks House has 72 undergraduates working to prevent weather in Cambridge, the squad being in charge of A. J. Weatherhead '15. In addition, a special and urgent meeting of the Student Council will be held three weeks from next Thursday to see if a committee cannot be appointed to look into the matter.
Hereafter, the CRIMSON will assign a special writer to give a full and graphic description with illustrations of each day's weather on the following day,--provided there is any.
