PRINCETON LOST TO DARTMOUTH

Former Team Could Not Get Going on Large Surface of Arena.

The Princeton University hockey team was decisively defeated by the Dartmouth seven by the score of 4 to 1 in the Arena last evening. As in the games with the B. A. A. and M. A. C. teams Princeton seemed lost in the big Arena rink and at no time was really dangerous. The Dartmouth seven played an excellent, though somewhat rough game. Their stick-work, team-play and shooting were immeasurably superior to Princeton's and even when Dartmouth had two men off the ice on account of penalties, Princeton was unable to score. The work of Donohue, the Dartmouth goal was the feature of the game.
