$250 Prize by Municipal League

The National Municipal League has established an annual prize of $250 to be awarded for the best essay on municipal government by a post-graduate student who is or has been registered within a year preceding the date of the competition in any college or university in the United States offering distinct and independent instruction in municipal government. This is the Hull Prize, founded by Hon. M. D. Hull '89, of Chicago, Professor W. D. Munro '01, has been appointed chairman of the committee, and all students interested in the contest should consult him for subjects and detailed information.

Freshman Musicians at Milton

The Freshman Musical Clubs will give a concert in the Milton Town Hall, Milton, tonight at 8.15 o'clock. The concert will be followed by dancing. Tickets at $1.00 each may be obtained during this afternoon from R. W. Stanley '17, Randolph 1, and at the door.

Portraits of Civil War Soldiers

Two portraits recently presented to Harvard College are of Harvard men who fought in the Civil War. One is an oil portrait of General Joseph Hayes, Class of 1855, A.B. 1862, given to Harvard by Joseph A. Blake. It is now hanging in Memorial Hall. The other picture also in Memorial Hall, is a crayon portrait of Captain Thomas B. Fox, Jr., Class of 1860, LL.B. 1862, by Thomas Murray Jerome Johnson, and given to the University by Rev. Charles A. Humphreys, who was Chaplain of the 2d Mass. Cavalry.

Leiter Cup Schedule.

The regular schedule of the Letter Cup price will be resumed this afternoon when two games will be played on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock. The "Mighty Mutts" will face the "Movie Queens" on the second team diamond, while the "'At-a-Boys" and "Whangdingers" will play behind the bleachers. The games scheduled for May 5 and 6 have been postponed until tomorrow and Monday.
