FIVE TO FIVE IN TWELVE INNINGS

Freshmen Threw Game Away in First of Play.--Darkness Stopped Game.

A twelve-inning, 5 to 5 tie game, was the result of yesterday's contest between the Rindge Training School and 1917 nines. In the first few innings the Freshmen practically threw the game away, errors letting in three runs.

The score was tied up in the fourth, but in the next two innings Rindge forged ahead securing two runs. A fine rally in the ninth put the Freshmen on even terms, and they stayed thus until darkness stopped play. The feature of the game was easily Harte's remarkable catch of a foul fly.
