PRINCETON FIRST TO SCORE

WINS ONLY POINT TALLIED AGAINST TENNIS TEAM THIS SEASON.

The University tennis team lived up to expectations on Saturday by defeating Princeton 8 to 1. The visitors, previously unbeaten, put up a harder fight than is indicated by the score, many of the matches being closely contested. E. R. Hastings '14 lost to L. Cooper, of Princeton, in two hard-fought sets, thus dropping the only point which has been scored against the University this season. R. N. Williams, 2nd, '16 played brilliantly and had little trouble in beating A. M. Kidder. Last year, Princeton won 6 matches to Harvard's 3.
