DEBATERS PREPARE FOR MEET

Triangular Contest With Yale and Princeton Will be Staged March 27.--Teams Will be Picked Tomorrow.

The final make-up of the University debating teams, which will meet Yale and Princeton March 27, will be determined after the practice debate in the New Lecture Hall tomorrow afternoon. At this time the judges and coaches will decide, both from past work and the showing tomorrow whether any of the alternates will be placed on the regular teams and they will also determine the order of the speakers on the affirmative and negative sides.

During the past two weeks all the men have been trained to speak on both sides of the question, in order that they may become thoroughly familiar with every phase of the subject. Special attention has been given to training in making rebuttals by coaches D. C. Howard 3L., and C. E. Dunbar 3L., assisted by S. Curtis '05. In view of considering the work of the teams thus far, a creditable showing is expected in the triangular meet. Harvard won from both Yale and Princeton last year, making 18 victories out of 23 meets with Yale, and 11 out of 19 with Princeton. Arrangements for the entertainment of the Princeton debaters in Cambridge are now being made by the Harvard management.
