Trials for Mandolin and Banjo Clubs, Wednesday.-Glee Men Later.

Trials for the Freshman Mandolin Club, open to all members of the class of 1917, will be held at 22 Plympton street next Wednesday evening at 6.45 o'clock. The club wants men playing mandolins, tenor mandolas, guitars, violins, and cellos, and all who are at all proficient on these instruments are urged to come out. No extensive experience is required.

Trials for the Freshman Banjo Club will also be held at 22 Plympton street on the same day and hour. For this club, men playing banjos, banjeaurines and guitars are needed. Here also no great experience is necessary. The Freshman Glee Club will start activities about the end of this week or the first of next.

A manager for the Freshman Musical Clubs will be appointed a little later, and a schedule of three or four concerts near Boston arranged. Aside from the good times involved by the concerts, the Freshman organizations give invaluable experience for those wishing to become members of the University Clubs.
