The Nom de Bums defeated the Toscas 1 to 0 yesterday afternoon in the scrub hockey series. This match however was not the final one. The four match however was not the final one. The four teams left, Puck-Pingers, Toscas, Hard Guys, and Nom de Bums must play a round robin series. There are still three games to be played before the championship is decided. Wednesday's game between the Hard Guys and the Nom de Bums which the latter won by default has been called a 0 to 0 tie game. This afternoon the Puck Pingers will meet the Hard Guys on the Stadium rink at 3.30 o'clock.
Further Loans to Museum.
Two valuable paintings of the sixteenth century have been lent to the Fogg Art Museum for an indefinite period, by Mrs. John Elliott. The first is "The Assumption of the Virgin," a painting by a Flemish master. The second is a portrait of King Philip II of Spain by a Spanish master.
The large collections of Chinese porcelain and oriental painting and sculpture, lent by Miss Margaret Thomas, Dr. D. W. Ross, and others, are still on exhibition and will remain for the present.
Swimming Captain Elected.
Bradford Morton Fullerton '16 of Spokane, Wash., was elected captain of the University swimming team for the season of 1914-15. The meet with Brown on Wednesday night finished the season as there was no meet scheduled with Yale. This is the second year for swimming as a recognized sport and although the team has not been successful interest and strength have doubled since last season.
Yale Offers More "Y's" In Track.
A revision in the rules for wearing the "Y" was made at a recent meeting of the Yale Athletic Association. The university insignium will be awarded hereafter to winners of a fifth place in the intercollegiate meet. Men who run against Princeton will get a "Y" jersey.
