A Harvard Branch of the Intercollegiate Prohibition Association was organized last evening. Mr. N. D. Cranmer, of Syracuse, sketched the history of the temperance cause in American colleges, mentioning especially the recent foundation of associations at Yale and Princeton and at other of the two hundred and sixty colleges now organized.

The association is in no way connected with the Prohibition Party, but is concerned with the alcohol problem in all its relations to society. The discussions of the organization will treat with the liquor question and prohibitory legislation from all standpoints. All who are in any way interested are asked to participate.

The Society has elected the following officers: E. Wilder '15, president; L. O. Wright '14, vice-president; and J. D. Taylor '14, secretary.
