A "POP" CONCERT.

It is quite true that although students show exceptional loyalty toward the University athletic teams, they do almost nothing to support the College musical and dramatic organizations. Except at the dual concerts with Yale and Princeton, undergraduates are seldom found at performances by the University Musical Clubs. Similarly, the dramatic clubs look to the Boston public rather than to the University to make their productions financially successful. Tonight the Pierian Sodality Orchestra will give a "pop" concert in the Union. This is one of the few opportunities of the year for students to hear a popular program well rendered by a College musical organization, and to prove that undergraduates, as well as the citizens of Waltham and Melrose, can appreciate the Pierian's work.
