The second of the preliminary trials for the Pierian Sodality will be held in the Trophy Room of the Union this evening at 7.30 o'clock. A large number of string players reported last evening, but it is of wood wind instruments that there is particular need. Any men playing the oboe or bassoon are particularly urged to come out.
A list of those retained from the trials will be published Wednesday and these will report for the first rehearsal, to be held in the Fencing Room of the Hemenway Gymnasium, Friday evening.
