The Graduate Treasurer of the Harvard Athletic Association has recently issued the financial report for the year ending July 31, 1912.

For purposes of comparison, the tabulated figures as given below for the past year, are made up on the same basis as in 1911. These show a gain for the year ending July 31, 1912, of over $27,000. The total receipts were$157, 359.18 as against $112,097.93 for the year ending July 31, 1911, an increase of about $45,000 due chiefly to University football profits. The statement shows a total profit of nearly $28,000 as against a loss of $10,000 for the previous year. The self-supporting sports were football, baseball, and hockey. The unusual increase in expenses on the tennis courts was due to resurfacing of a part of the courts.
