MEMBERSHIP IN BOSTON CLUB

Regulations Outlined for Benefit of Those Who Are Eligible.

The attention of those connected with the University, and especially of Seniors, is called to the following arrangements concerning membership in the Harvard Club of Boston:

It is expected that the new club house will be completed by October 15th next. The Club's Committee on Elections will not elect further candidates for membership until October 1st, but in order that candidates for membership may be eligible for election in October it is desirable that their names be proposed during the summer. A candidate for membership must be proposed at least one month before the Committee on Elections may take action upon the proposal.

The annual dues for resident members from the Class of 1913 will be ten dollars for the first three years of membership. For non-resident members the annual dues will be fifteen dollars (without variation in respect to members of different classes). The entrance fee for resident members will be twenty dollars; for non-resident members ten dollars.

Definition of Eligibility.

The following persons are eligible for membership:

"Any man who has received a degree from Harvard University.

"Any man who, being twenty-one years of age or more, has been connected for at least one academic year with any department of Harvard University (except the Summer School) as a student or as an officer of instruction or administration.

"Any professor or assistant professor of Harvard University whether or not he has been connected therewith for the full period of one academic year.

"Provided, however, that a man who has been connected with Harvard University only as a special student, shall not be eligible under the foregoing rules unless so connected with the University for a period of at least two academic years; and provided, further, that regular or special students of the Senior, Junior, Sophomore and Freshman classes in Harvard College shall not be eligible for membership."

Men desiring to become members of the Club can get further information from friends who are members of the Club, or by writing to the Harvard Club, Boston, Massachusetts.
