DATES OF IMPORTANT RACES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS CONCERNING THEM.

The following plans have been made for rowing this spring for Class, University, and Freshman crews.

On May 10 will be held the class races, the winner of which will race the winning Yale class crew in the Charles River Basin on May 17. Besides rowing Yale, the winning crew will get its numerals.

Harvard-Pennsylvania-Princeton.

On May 10 also the University crew will race Pennsylvania and Princeton in a triangular race in the Charles River Basin. The visiting crews will be here for a few days before the race, and will be given rooms in the Yard, Pennsylvania in Thayer and Princeton in Holworthy. The crews will also eat at the Varsity Club. The Freshman crew will race the Pennsylvania freshmen the same afternoon, but Princeton is unable to send up a crew for this race.

American Henley Regatta.

The University second crew is entered in the American Henley Regatta, which will take place at Philadelphia on May 31. Columbia, Princeton, Pennsylvania and Yale will probably be entered, as last year, when the second crew won easily, and Annapolis also will probably be represented.

Yale Races at New London.

The Yale races will be held at New London on June 20. The University four-oar and the Freshman eight will race in the morning, and the University eight in the afternoon. The Freshman four-oar will race the afternoon of June 19.

Practice for Class Crews.

All candidates for class crews are expected to report regularly from now on, at 3.30 sharp every afternoon at the Weld boathouse. Coxswains especially are needed. Coach Brown will be in charge.

Changes in Freshman Boat.

There was a slight change in the order of the first Freshman crew yesterday when Morgan and Wilson changed places, going to stroke and 2 respectively. This makes the order: stroke, Morgan; 7, Potter; 6, Boyer; 5, Schall; 4, Parson; 3, Jeffries; 2, Wilson; bow, Emerson; cox., Sargent.
