A conference of constructive criticism on social service will be held in Phillips Brooks House tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The conference will be attended by professional workers from most of the settlement houses of Greater Boston, by members of the Faculty, and especially by students who have engaged in settlement work this year.
The conference will take the form of an informal discussion of the aims, methods, and results of the social service work of Harvard men. This discussion is intended to give clearer conception of the significance of the work, and to develop some ideas as to how voluntary service work may be made more effective.
P. H. Wellman '13, chairman of the social service committee, will preside. The discussion will be limited to one hour. All members of the University are invited to attend.
