President Eliot will speak in the Living Room of the Union tonight at 8 o'clock, when he will address the Federation of Territorial Clubs on "When may a University be called National?" The speech will be in honor of the formal opening of the Federation's new clubroom on the second floor of the Union. Members of the Union as well as of the Territorial Clubs are urged to attend President Eliot's address. Directly after the talk in the Living Room, punch will be served at a reception in the clubroom, to which only the Federation members will be admitted.

In President Eliot, a man has been chosen to speak who has been pioneer in the work which the Territorial Clubs are advocating, that of nationalizing Harvard. He was an ardent exponent of the cause that has extended Harvard's influence by means of the graduates, and tonight he will tell how it is best to broaden the University through the undergraduate student body.

The new clubroom has been furnished handsomely, $1500 having been spent in fitting it out properly. A most enjoyable evening is anticipated. Members of the Federation who do not receive admission cards, may obtain them from the secretary, Hollis 28.
