The second of a series of lectures on social problems being held at the University will be given by Mr. John Z. White this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in Emerson D. Mr. White will speak on "The Single Tax."
Mr. White formerly practiced law in Chicago, where he became recognized as an authority on economic subjects. Since 1903 he has been lecturing under the Henry George Lecture Association, obtaining a wide reputation as a speaker on the single tax and economic topics. Mr. White is on a tour and will be able to give but one lecture at the University. The address will be open only to members of the University.
