Entries for the scrub hockey series close Friday night, and so far only one team and four individuals have signed the blue-books at Leavitt & Peirce's. Last year 18 teams entered the series and the year before 22 teams played. It is therefore essential that more men sign up if this series is to be as good as the former ones. Aside from the pleasure to be got from playing it is to be remembered that scrub hockey is a stepping-stone to University hockey, and that men have been taken from a scrub team in the middle of the season. The rules of the series are written on the covers of the blue-books and their will be no chance to enter the series after Friday night. Weather permitting, the series will start immediately after the recess.
