ANOTHER PLAY BY HARVARD MEN

"We, the People," at Castle Square is Production of "47 Workshop."

J. F. Ballard and E. C. Ranck, special students in the course on dramatic technique during 1911-12 and 1912-13, are to have a new play, written in collaboration, produced at the Castle Square Theatre this week. The play, "We, the People" was planned and written in English 47 in 1912. Since then Mr. Ballard has had "Believe Me, Xantippe" produced both here and in New York, while Mr. Ranck has done a great deal of dramatic writing.

The plot of "We, the People" is based on an actual episode in the real life of a convict. Every effort has been expended to secure realism, both in action and scenery, one of the settings being a replica of the rotunda in the Charlestown Prison.
