William Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors" has been chosen by the Harvard Chapter of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity for its fourteenth annual dramatic revival. While the "Comedy of Errors" has been very seldom played and is practically never seen on the modern stage, it remains one of its author's cleverest works. Technically, it is perhaps the neatest of Shakespeare's comedies, for although it does not possess the character development of his later plays the complications of plot are worked out with rare skill.

Novel Presentation.

In presenting this play, the emphasis will be placed on those qualities in the play which will tend to bring out its pretty atmosphere and charm rather than on those of vulgar farce as has usually been the case with the few earlier revivals.

All costumes and scenery will be made from designs drawn from the best existing illustrations of the "Comedy of Errors," and the works of the late Henry E. Abbey are also expected to prove of very great assistance in securing the desired atmosphere and setting effect.

Although this is the first time that the Delta Upsilon has given a Shake-spearian play in the course of its revivals of Elizabethan dramas, the precedent set will not necessarily be followed in the future.

Dates of Performances.

The play this year will be given under the direction of Mr. Francis Powell working with T. M. Spelman, 3rd, '13. The first public performance being given in Brattle Hall on March 10. Other performances will take place in Brattle Hall on March 11, in Jordan Hall on March 12 and at Exeter and one or two other places on later dates.
