The Harvard Club of Boston met yesterday afternoon for reorganization, and for the election of officers for the ensuing year. All officers nominated by the nominating committee were elected and also the alumni nominated for the committees. The officers are as follows: President, H. L. Higginson '55: Vice-President, O. Roberts '86; Treasurer, F. S. Mead '87; Secretary, P. W. Thomson '02.
The reorganization consisted in the change from the Harvard Club of Boston (a voluntary organization) to the Harvard Club of Boston, Incorporated. Since the organization of the Club in 1908 the membership has grown from 22 to 1,465. The announcement of the purpose to build a clubhouse in December has resulted in over 1600 applications for membership.
