REVERSAL OF FORM SHOWN

Fast and Brilliant Hockey Gave University Team a 4 to 1 Victory Over the B. A. A. Yesterday.

Playing in the best form shown this season, the University hockey team out-played the B. A. A. team yesterday and won an encouraging 4 to 1 victory. The whole team played at top speed and seemed to have entirely recovered from the slump which has been apparent in the work following recess. The forwards displayed excellent team-work and with a fast attack and some good passing kept the playing continually around the B. A. A. team's goal. Palmer, who replaced Phillips at right centre during the latter half of the scrimmage, played a star game, scoring two goals by his excellent stickwork and fast playing on rebound shots. The defence showed great improvement keeping the B. A. A. forwards well in check, and allowing them few chances to score. A particularly encouraging feature of the work was the effective way in which the defence men got the puck out of the corners and assisted in the attack. Gardner's fine work at goal was a part of the general good playing of the entire team.
