As the number of men reporting for Freshman cross-country practice has been unusually small this year, Captain Lawless has issued another call for candidates. It is very essential that as many 1916 men as possible should report, as Coach Shrubb will devote a great deal of his attention to the Freshmen. It also gives the candidates the advantage of good preparation for the University team in later years. The Freshmen have an important run with Yale this year and unless more men report, the prospects of victory are not exceptionally bright. It is hoped that enough men will come out to warrant the attention paid to them and to insure the success of the team.
Candidates should report to Coach Shrubb and Captain Lawless at the Locker Building today at 4 o'clock.
