1915 DEFEATED WORCESTER

Freshman Baseball Team Outhit its Opponents and Won Well-played Game.

The Freshman baseball team won a well-earned game from the Worcester Academy nine at Worcester Saturday afternoon by a score of 5 to 1. The game was marked by clean fielding by both teams, but the school team was easily outbatted.

Worcester was the first to score, the Freshmen tieing the game in the seventh when Hardwick made their first run. In the next inning, with the bases full, Gannett made a home run which decided the game.

The features of the game were the batting of Gannett and West, and the fielding of Mason and Kean, the latter accepting ten chances without an error.
