In celebrating its thirty-ninth anniversary this year, the CRIMSON is most fortunate in having as guests at dinner two of the foremost educators and scholars in America today: President Lowell and Dr. Talcott Williams of Philadelphia. The former is too well known by the audience which will hear him tonight to need any words of introduction from us. Dr. Williams is not so well known by Harvard undergraduates, but he not only stands today at the top of his profession as an editor; his ability as an educator has won him the privilege of conducting the latest and boldest experiment in specialized education.
To these two men, whose willingness to speak to us will be appreciated at its full value, as well as to our guests from Yale, Princeton, Pennsylvania, and Harvard College, the CRIMSON extends a most hearty welcome to the festive board.
