The Boston Symphony Orchestra will give the last of a series of eight concerts in Sanders Theatre this evening at 8 o'clock. Miss Irma Seydel will be the soloist. Tickets at $1 each may be obtained at Kent's University Bookstore.
The program will be as follows: Brahms, Symphony in D major, No. 2; Wieniawski, Concerto in D minor for violin and orchestra, No. 2, op. 22; Strauss, Tone Poem, "Ein Heldenleben".
The Symphony Orchestra will give its first pop-concert of the year in Symphony Hall, Boston, Monday evening, May 6, at 8.15 o'clock. These concerts will continue every evening except Sundays until Saturday, June 29, under the direction of Conductors Strube and Maquarre. Tickets for reserved seats will be on sale at Symphony Hall, Boston, and at the Co-operative Branch.
