At a recent meeting of the Corporation the rule refusing the right of the use of the halls of the University for addresses and lectures by women, except such as are invited by the Corporation, was changed to read as follows: "The halls of the University shall not be open for persistent or systematic propaganda on contentious questions of contemporaneous social, economics, political, or religious interests." The wording of the old rule was as follows: "That the halls of the University be not opened to lectures and addresses by women except such as are invited by the Corporation."
