The University crew management has announced that the annual race with Yale will be held on Friday, June 21 at 5 o'clock. This date is nine days earlier than last year, the purpose being to have Class Day, June 18, Commencement, June 20, the baseball games and the boat-race, all in the same week. As was the case last year, the race, on account of the tide, will be rowed downstream, starting from a point opposite the Harvard Freshman quarters.
The Freshman four-oared race will be rowed on the afternoon of Thursday, June 20, at a time to be agreed upon by the two captains. The Freshman eight-oared race will be started Friday morning at 10.30 at the railroad Bridge, and will finish at the Navy Yard, two miles up-stream, while the University four-oared race will be started from the Navy Yard as soon as practicable after the finish of the Freshman race, and will be rowed up-stream, finishing at the end of the up-stream course.
All Crews Now on the Water
Five University crews and seven Freshman crews wet out on the river yesterday. It was a trifle windy but on the whole the water was very good. The University crew did not row together well and seemed to hang at the catch; but this is to be expected so early in the season.

Second crew: Stroke, Eager; 7, L, Curtis; 6, E. Morgan; 5, Rogers; 4, Taylor; 3, Walker; 2, Trumbull; bow, Carver; cox., A. Abeles.
