PROF. COPELAND'S READINGS

From Bible Wednesday Evening.--Series in Union During Winter.

Professor C. T. Copeland will give a Bible reading in Emerson J on Wednesday evening at 9 o'clock under the auspices of the Christian Association. Professor Copeland gave a similar reading at the beginning of the year. This reading will be the culmination of the Association's work in Bible study and will be the final event of a successful season. It will be open to all members of the University.

Christmas Reading.

Professor Copeland has consented, with his usual generosity, to give a series of readings in the Union this year as in the past. The first will take place in the Dining Room of the Union on Wednesday evening, December 18, and will consist of a brief address on "The Spirit of Christmas," followed by selections from the works of Thackeray, Dickens, Stevenson, and Barrie in keeping with the holiday season. The meeting will be open only to members of the Union.

In order to avoid the crowding usual at Professor Copeland's readings, tickets will be issued at the Union Office free to any member, and admission will be by ticket only. Members should apply for these tickets in the course of the coming week.
