Of the numerous opportunities which the University offers, none is more distinctly worth while to the student than that of coming into closer touch with the Faculty. Too often it happens that a man knows his professor only as a lecturer. He finds that in some of the larger courses it is impossible for a more intimate acquaintanceship to spring up.
It is this very situation which the University Teas go far toward remedying. The chance to meet members of the Faculty, to come to know them off the lecture platform, is one which we cannot afford to neglect. It is a privilege which in after years we should be sorry to have missed. Let us, then, take full advantage of this opportunity to become better acquainted with some of the men who make Harvard University what it is.
