The Senior football team beat its way to a 7 to 0 victory over the Juniors yesterday afternoon and proved that with a time-keeper from its own ranks it could defeat 1914 any day.
The deciding and only score of the game came in the fourth period when "Sam White" Baldwin earned an undying niche in the hall of fame by scooping up a fumble in the middle of the field and running fifty yards for a touchdown. Captain Baldwin was decidedly the star of the game, as he not only made the touchdown, but kicked the succeeding goal, thus swelling his team's score to seven.
In spite of the official score of 7 to 0, members of both teams feel that the game was virtually a tie, as Osborn crossed the Seniors' goal line for a touchdown in the first period. The score was not allowed, however, because of the slightest of technicalities, one of the rowing members of the Junior eleven being detected holding his arms out straight instead of bent at the elbow.
