1914 WON CROSS-COUNTRY

Captain Lawless Was Individual Winner.--No Times Given Out.

The interclass cross-country run held over the Chestnut Hill course yesterday, was won by the Juniors with a total of only 30 points as against 43 and 59 for the Sophomores and Seniors respectively. The Freshmen did not enter a team. Only three of the eighteen men who started were Seniors. As the first five men in each class scored, this accounts largely for their high score, as they were assigned to nineteenth and twentieth places in addition to the actual positions in which the runners finished.

H. P. Lawless '13, captain of the University team, was the individual winner. He was followed by R. St. B. Boyd '14, with B. S. Carter '15 in third place. No times were given out.
