There will be a Harvard Night at the Shubert Theatre, Boston, tomorrow evening. The play now being presented at the Shubert is "The Faun", a comedy by E. G. Knoblauch '96. Members of the Dramatic Club may obtain tickets at half price.
Besides "The Faun" there is now being produced in Boston another play by a graduate of the University, namely, "Princess Zim-Zim", by E. B. Sheldon '08. The play is being presented at the Plymouth Theatre and Dorothy Donnelly and John Barrymore are taking the leading parts.
One-act Harvard Play at Keith's.
The first one-act Harvard play to be professionally produced, "That Case of the Joneses", by Florence J. Lewis of Radeliffe College, will be presented at
B. F. Keith's Theatre next week. Ann Crewe, late of "Over Night", will have the principal role, and the other members of the cast will be Walter Andruss, late of "The Witching Hour" and "Paid in Full", Agnes Hernden, who has starred in several of Lillian Russell's former successes, and Belle Caffney, until recently a member of the original company of "Alias-Jimmy Valentine".
Competition for Dramatic Club Play.
The competition resulting in the selection of a play to be produced by the Dramatic Club in the spring will close on February 12. This competition is open to all members of the University. Either long or one-act plays may be submitted. A long play will be presented if a suitable one is submitted, but if not the program will consist of several short ones as was the case last year
