Applications for Second Half-Year Due Today.--Two for Special Students.

Two scholarships--the Scholarship of the Class of 1867 and the Mary L. Whitney Scholarship -- will be awarded, shortly after the beginning of the second half-year, to Freshmen who are deserving and in need of assistance. In awarding the former, preference will be given to children or grandchildren of the class of 1867.

Freshmen who have already applied for Price Greenleaf Aid at its second assignment will be considered, without fur-there action on their part, candidates for these scholarships. All other Freshmen who wish to become applicants must apply on forms which may be obtained at the office of the Acting Secretary, at 20 University Hall. These applications, accompanied by the necessary certificates from parents or guardians, must be left at 20 University Hall today.

Two Joseph Eveleth Scholarships will also be awarded soon after the beginning of the second half-year to Special Students.
