Thoughtlessness alone can account for the delay of the many Seniors who have not yet sent their "Class Lives" to the secretary. These Seniors probably do not realize the inconvenience they are causing by deferring this simple obligation to their class. The "Class Lives" are intended for statistical purposes and it is obvious that if the data is incomplete the accuracy and value of the statistics must suffer. If this data is to be at all complete it must be collected before the men leave College, as after that time it is far more difficult to get satisfactory replies and to make corrections. Moreover the earlier the Class Report is prepared the more useful it is to the members of the class.
It is not much that is asked in the request that these "Lives" be filled out. The facts are primarily what is wanted and to write these down is but a matter of a few minutes. It is now too late for hesitation in writing the biography to be an excuse for postponement. The CRIMSON hopes on behalf of the class of 1911 as a whole that those Seniors who have not yet sent in their "Lives" will make every effort to do so at once in compliance with their secretary's appeal.
