Results of Coast Artillery Meet

At the annual meet of the Coast Artillery Corps, M. V. M., held in the South Armory, Boston, Saturday night, the men entered by the University won one first place, three seconds, and one third. The Freshman relay team, composed of R. W. Boyd, W. L. Allen, W. A. Barron, and F. J. O'Brien defeated the relay team of Troop C, Rhode Island National Guards, in the time of 3 minutes, 19 3-5 seconds.

Harvard's only first was won by J. B. Cummings '14 in the 70-yard low hurdles race in 8 3-5 seconds, his handicap of 2 1-2 yards being sufficient to give him the place. In this event second was taken by R. C. Foster '11 with a handicap of 1 yard. A. W. Moffat '13 with a handicap of 5 1-2 inches got second in the running high jump. In the 440-yard dash W. A. Barron '14, with 20 yards handicap, came in second. Third place in the 1000-yard run was obtained by P. Newton '11 with 22 yards' handicap.
