Practice for the class football teams will begin on Soldiers Field this afternoon. Candidates should report, dressed to play to the captains of their respective teams at the Locker Building at 3 o'clock. No man will be eligible who has played on the University squad or who is a regular or first substitute on the second team.
The following men have been appointed captains: Seniors, R. Clifford; Juniors, C. MacR. Makepeace; Sophomores, A. F. Sortwell. A schedule will be arranged by the class captains. The Freshmen will be represented in the series by the second Freshman team.
All men who have played football should report this afternoon, as a large number of candidates is necessary to make the series a success.
