The first of a series of three consolation cross-country runs for the University and Freshman squads will be held over the Chestnut Hill course Monday at 4 o'clock. All those entered in the race must be prepared to leave the Square at 3 o'clock. This race is to be open to everyone, but will be run in two squads the University team going over the course twice, the Freshmen but once No one will be allowed to enter the race unless he has taken a strength test this fall.

Blue-books for entries to this race have been placed in the Locker Building, the list of entries closing tonight at 6 o'clock. No cup will be awarded to the winner of this race, but one will be given the man making the best average in all three races. A man becomes ineligible for this prize as soon as he is taken to the training table.
