An all-round track and field competition has been arranged by Coach Quinn for this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Coach Quinn has offered a large cup for the winner. This competition, which will be open to all members of the University, will be scored on the American Amateur--Union's percentage basis.
This is the first time that such a contest has taken place in the University, and every man who is in any way interested in track and field work should report this afternoon to Coach Quinn. Entries may be made today on the field.
The following ten events will be held: 100-yard dash, 120-yard high hurdles, 440-yard dash, 440-yard walk, pole-vault, high jump, broad jump, standing high jump, 16-pound shot put, 16-pound hammer-throw.
