THE FOOTBALL SCHEDULE.

The University football schedule, announced this morning, contains the same number of games as last year, and with one exception includes the same teams. The significant feature of this is the proof which it affords of the continued compliance of the Athletic Committee with the wishes of the Faculty, as expressed in the discussion which finally led to the organization of the Student Council.

There are no Wednesday games to be played during term-time, instead of the three included in the schedule of 1908. This innovation is most valuable in decreasing the number of absences from afternoon lectures. The most radical advocate of curtailment can no longer find fault with the arrangement of football games.
