The Newell Boat Club crew will race Worcester High School over a mile and one-half course on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The crew with a substitute and Coach Stephenson left for Worcester yesterday, and took a trial spin over the course in the afternoon.
This will be the first race for both crews. In the Harvard boat are rowing six of the men from the Junior crew with two Sophomores, F. H. Leslie and R. S. Parker. The men have been rowing well together and send the boat forward with considerable drive and power.
