The Harvard Rifle and Pistol Club was defeated by the University of Pennsylvania on Thursday evening by the score of 459 to 432, out of a possible 500. Each team shot at home and sent its targets to its opponent for comparison in scoring. Every man had 50 shots, standing, at a 50-yard target and 50 shots, prone, at 75 yards distance, G. A. Smith of Pennsylvania made the best score, with 97 out of a possible 100.
