Team A defeated Team B by the score of 8 to 3 in the practice game of the University baseball team yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field. Although 12 men on Team A struck out, the team made 13 hits to four made by Team B. McLaughlin and Conant hit the best for Team A, each making three hits. The features of the game were McLaughlin's home run and Conant's three-base hit.
